what i think is the weird thing is that you have those saying that the number 72 was a vtec and was proven not to be. then you have someone try to say the wheels arent legal now??? I wonder how this car has ran the same wheels for 3+ years and has ran roseburg, sunset, st helens, maridian, port angeles, hermiston, and i believe others too, that you guys are saying they are illegal hear so if the rules say the rules a banks rules and the car passes banks tech process then the car is legal right? the rules are subject to enforcement ny the officials and i don't care how you swing it in your favor because you put steel wheels on her car and she will still be fast, its the driver not the car and if that car had half the time your guys cars have put into them then you really wouldnt stand a chance at all!!!!I am just saying what really makes you that mad?? is it that the car is bone stock and still has wiper system in it and still has a full heater system to keep her warm? or is it a combo of the fact that she is a new comer, a female and she is running a bone stock 4 cylinder hornet not even a full mini stock and she blows your doors off because with the right set up and the right driver and old dog can win a race too.. chew on that biscuit for a few....... Kudos to the 72 car for a couple of reasons...one, when being asked to remove valve cover, they did so with no reservations ..two,driver and crew are very respectfull on and off track...yes driver is new to our class, and yes the car performs very well....buuuuuuutttt..we are following Sunset speedway's 4-bees rules...please go to website to download rules PDF...my advice to anyone doing well in this class ...is to be compliant as to the contents within ......!
Please let me say ..this racing is only for fun..,we have rules for a reason...lets save all the other stuff for the regular season ..and just have a good time doing what we LOVE..c u sat...jr

the thing is john this car has ran banks with the same rules and passed tech inspections, so if it was legal at banks why is it illegal at salem? ?? if your fallowing what would happen if this car was at banks then you would have to say its all good because they checked the wheels and said they are safe enough to run there... car count is the most important thing, so if its safe why does it matter those wheels dont make her any faster...

I gota chime in.......as soon as you pay your entry fee (anyone) you are subject to tech. If your running in the front those behind you will always want you teched, (take it as a compliment). The venues I race in we bring a box to each race cause we know we're going to be taking our motor home in pieces.
Tech is part of racing if this is your first experience with it enjoy it, cause if you pass tech it means your doing something right.

I think well put by everyone, And I gotta chime in about the 72 as well, I am new to this whole experience and I myself was asked to look at the 72 this last saturday, which i think is from my knowledge of Honda/integra's, and I said it looked fine to me, anyways I got black flaged during the first set of hot laps for leaking water, and the 72 team was right there letting me know that I was leaking fluids, and when we figured out that it was just water, from a bad rad cap, they offered up one that they had and wouldnt even let me give it back to them after words.
I myself think thats show very good sportsmanship, and if it wasnt for them, my weekend may have been a bust.
as far as the wheels, i know I have read that aluminum are illegal, but she is not the only one running aluminum wheels.......

I know and I agree my family shows great sportsman shop and will help a fellow racer anytime we can out at the track or off it, this is why we race its for the family part of it and felling like we are one big one and we are ther to put on a show for our fans and family. I love racing in the NW just for this fact. I hope everyone will continue to have fun and enjoy this track that we get to run in these cold months when our home tracks are closed.. See everyone saturday at the races... Slidin Sideways
