Run the Subaru Peewees (restricted) separate from the RWYB Peewees (restricted). Let us change the name from "Peewee RWYB" to "Peewee Non-Subaru". I don't care what motor you run as long as it runs through an appropriate restrictor plate.
Briggs Flathead .500 Light Blue Clone or Honda GX200 .425 Green Briggs Animal 2 Hole .275" / .325 Blue
Makes it very simple. The Subaru Peewee rules are easy. Same rules as Red Bluff, Roseburg, Grove, Lebanon, etc... I would like the ball to be rolling now, so the rules are in effect for the next race (Nov. 9-10). Also, in fairness to all the kids that were non Subaru, make this first weekend award no points for the PeeWee Non Subaru.

I think all motor need to be looked at as I know for a fact listening to some of the motor they are not stock, so I feel if your not stock u need to run open, this class RWYB is a joke, no rules bring anything but run restrictor plate is dumb... the class is supposed to be stock peewee with restrictors not built to crap engines with restrictors and race fuel or pump fuel not av gas like a bunch were running... We need to figure it out cause right now the way it is isn't fair... I also wanna say that I feel if a kart stalls under the initial caution before green they shouldn't be charged a caution penalty as the race hasn't started , these kids are our future of racing, so lets no treat them like we are in nascar...

Ryan, define stock. The stock Briggs rod will not hold up, so that is not a performance advantage, it is a reliability upgrade. Also, there are several different head options you can put on the Briggs that are stock. Some create more compression than others. Our fuel was Sunoco 110, so I think we we're OK there. You can't do very much to these motors and still have them run through the plate. We don't want to be in tech all day. We just want the plates enforced. Pretty simple. As for the caution before the race, I can agree with you there as long as it isn't holding up the show too long.

Ryan I hear where you are coming from as far as your stand point on running bone stock engines. Here's my response. I've got some pieces in our motor to help with reliability and long life. Which in our case is just and after market rod that has bearings and oiling capabilities. Thats going to potentially save me some money in the long run.

After doing more research and talking to some more people, the correct Animal restrictor should be the purple 2 hole Animal restrictor made by Horstman.

Running them seperate is just silly. The retricted subaru engine is not faster than a retrictrd briggs if it is put together right. Why race with low car count by splitting them up when they can run a full field together. Do your homework on a Briggs and you will beat subarus all day.

Like I said its silly to split up the pee-wees into two classes. They should all be in one class. Just because the engine rules are different doesn't mean they won't run together.
