No Parking on the grass, at all.
When parking in the undercover Pits remember that other Rigs need to park also. Park your Rig using only the space you need, especially for BK4 January 20-21.
Do not leave used tires at the track.
Used Oil may be disposed of in the large square plastic container in the hot grid area.
No Open Fires in the undercover pits.
No smoking in any building.
No speeding through-out facility except on the racing surface.
General Racing Rules
• No vehicle shall enter onto the racing surface without the permission of the Hot Grid Steward.
• No on-track work area.
• If a Race Vehicle loses power while on the Racing Surface it will be pushed to the infield for the duration of the session. No Crew Members will be allowed on the Racing Surface to re-start engine. Exception: Race Vehicles with onboard starters may re-start and rejoin Race Group in last place.
• 90 second Rule is in effect. You have 90 seconds to get your engine started on the Hot Grid from the time the Hot Grid Steward motions the Race Group onto the Racing Surface.
• Time-in: UAS and Micros will Time-in, in order of pill draw. Time-ins will consist of 1 pace lap followed by Green, White Checker. Your fastest lap will determine your heat position, 2nd fastest lap will be used in event of a tie. All other Classes will be Gridded for Heats by pill draw.
• Mini-Stocks will be allowed to exit racing surface from N. Exit for repairs and re-enter racing surface though S. Hot Grid Entrance. While driving to South Pit Area, Drivers will observe a 5 mph speed limit.
• All Speedway Karts, Cage Karts and Micros will scale upon leaving Racing Surface after each Qualifying attempt, Heat Race and Main. Failure to proceed directly to Scales will result in a DQ for that session and last place points for session. Failure to make weight will result in DQ for particular Session.
• 2 Spin Rule, upon a Racers 2nd Spin-out in a session the Racer will be given the Black Flag and will exit the track immediately. Racer will receive points for that session in order of DNF’s. In the event of multiple Race Vehicles involved in a spin, Race Officials will make a best effort to determine which vehicle/s caused the spin and only penalize that particular vehicle/s. All innocent Race Vehicles will line-up as per position of last lap prior to spin/incident. This is a very hard call to make and Race Officials call will be Final and Non-Protestable.
• Overly Aggressive and Intentional rough driving will result in violator/s immediately receiving the Black Flag. Driver/s will receive Last Place Points for particular Session and possible suspension from the rest of the Event. Official call is Final and Non-Protestable.
• Re-Starts will be Double File prior to 1st lap being completed and Single File after 1st Lap is completed. Single file Re-Starts will have an Orange cone placed at the Start/Finish Line, all karts are to pass to the Right of the cone and not pass other Race Vehicles until passing the Start/Finish Line. Violators shall cause another Re-start and be placed in Last Place for this Re-Start.
• Sportsmanship is a Tech Rule. Sportsmanship shall be defined as per UAS Rules and applied to all Race Classes both on and off the Racing Surface and be applied to both Drivers and Any Crew Member in Drivers Pit. Race Director has the right to make a situational call not clearly stated in print as to Sportsmanship.
• Any Driver/Crew member entering either the Scoring Tower or Flag Tower shall be immediately DQ’ed from the rest of the Days Event unless specifically invited by Race Director. All Scoring and Flagging questions shall be directed to the Race Director only.
• When exiting racing surface en-route to scales/pit area do so in a slow and safe manner, people are walking around and may not hear you coming.
• Unlimited All Stars (BK4 Open Class)
• All Drivers must have a current copy of the UAS Rules in their Pit. You can download a copy of the rules for free at the following link. www.unlimitedallstars.org/2012uasrulebook.pdf
• During BK4 UAS Member Drivers Only will be racing for 3 separate sets of points during this Event. Points will be awarded to UAS Member Drivers for UAS NW Regional Championship, UAS National ¼ Points and BK4 Champion Points. Non-UAS Member Drivers will be racing for BK4 Champion Points ONLY. UAS Memberships are available at Registration on Race Days. Drivers wanting to accumulate UAS Regional or National ¼ Points must purchase UAS Membership prior to entering the Racing Surface on Race Day. Retroactive Points are not available. Memberships cost $20.00 per year and if you would like the UAS Magazine it is available for an additional $15.00 per year.
• Your Declared Weight must be posted on the right front of your karts nose, near the kart #. Weight must be clearly visible to Scale Steward. Failure to post Declared Weight will result in a DQ for each scaling session weight is not visible to Scale Steward.
• Sportsmanship: Taken directly from UAS Rules. The Unlimited All Stars is intended to be a gentlemen’s series and all drivers and crew members are expected to act accordingly. If you can’t or won’t drive and act in a professional manner, then race in another division. We don’t necessarily want the most drivers, but we do want the best. Please give your competitors room to race. Respect the other drivers; they have a lot invested too. Tough driving, foul language, and unsportsmanlike conduct are not appreciated. Officials are requested to be especially firm with the Unlimited All Stars. Remember, a lot of kids look up to YOU.
